Sunroom goes from tepid beach house to super comfortable with Heating, Ventilation, & A/C

There was simply never any question in my mind that a transfer to the south would end up being awesome.

But, I was still surprised at how suddenly I became totally enamored with the section we moved to.

Not having a brutal Winter season was a giant bonus of course. Plus, being free of the enormous Heating, Ventilation, & A/C heating costs was another superb thing as well. Of course there is a bit of a tradeoff when it comes to the local weather. Our lake house deals with a Summer heat that I was taken aback by initially. It was just feeling so tepid & humid that I could not handle it at first. However, I l acquired to manage. The best thing to do is to be inside with the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C cooling during the peak heating hours of the afternoon. This works out fine for me given the fact that I am working during that time. While I am semi retired, I still have my consulting company that I love. It keeps me tied up & is not too much either. Working from my home also allows me to manage the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C use more closely. It works out best for me to have the inside temperature not more than 15 degrees cooler than the outside temperatures. This approach truly cuts down the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C utility bills & also doesn’t make it seem like such a shock when I go outside. However, one of the things I loved most about this beach house was almost unUSble during the Summer until recently. The beach house has a built-in sunshine room. In the Summer it is just so tepid that I can’t even set foot in there. That seemed to be a waste so I had the local Heating, Ventilation, & A/C put in a ductless Heating, Ventilation, & A/C unit.
